Rare combination: undated 1930s era color picture postcard (Faculty of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon) sent from HAIFA and addressed to HAMBURG (New York, USA), as bearing a greeting of 5 or less words it is franked 3 mils for the overseas surface mail printed matter rate (rather than the 8m postcard rate - both postage rates existed between 1921/23 - 1940/43) using a booklet stamp (cropped top horizontal perimeter) and tied - against regulations for overseas mail - by the dateless triangular HAIFA "HA" postmark (GD #85) used during holiday periods to postmark bulk printed matter mail.
