Unusual mixed national franking on mail: 30 July 1956 postmarked Israeli return-reply postal card, sent from West BERLIN (SPANDAU) to HAIFA & uprated for airmail transmission from original imprinted 30 Pruta for surface transmission, with additional Israeli postage stamps, all totalling 70pr - but short paid for the 75pr airmail postcard postage and evidentally supplemented by a German 10 Pfennig stamp; all franking tied by 2x strikes of the local German postmark (a rare instance of a foreign postal administration correctly cancelling another country's franks) and the franking of both countries accepted for postage as the cover was not sanctioned or taxed; machine backstamped 1 Aug arrival + circular Israeli "Pay" letter censor mark. Rare postal handling.
