Late 1950s era unpaid letter overseas returned by the Army postal servce: stampless cover addressed to LONDON & dispatched at army unit post office 1194 (Harris unlisted) - correctly dispatched by the soldier via the Army (not cvilian) postal service, but as unfranked (as required for mail abroad), the cover was returned to the sender with the address on front obliterated by an "X" handstamp + an unusual "Incorrect Address" instructional marking on back & the arrow "returned to sender" IM. Unusually the correct reason for the termination of service was not indicated, but in any case the transmission had not proceeded far enough for the cover to be checked by the censor (who would have opened & sealed the cover). Slit open at top.
