Of historical significance: the day before, on 15 March, Germany occupied the remains of Czechoslovakia (after Sudentenland had been ceded to Germany in Oct. 1938); here the sender wrote a message in regards to the new 'Protectorate' established by Germany in the newly occupied territory called Bohemia-Moravia, and referenced letters on the Hebrew clock. As of 15 March the Czechoslovakian postal service came under the control of Germany - here unusual mixed franking postage sent through the mails.
