Rare combination: 21 Dec 1938 dated TEL AVIV POSTAGE PAID skeleton postmark in red ink (Groten F1 rarity rated D; Proud PD3; Sacher E7) tied to newspaper wrapper addressed to LAUSANNE Switzerland - an unusual use of the postage paid postmark on foreign mail, especially here as a wrapper. The postage paid would have been 3 mils for overseas surface mail.
